Do I have to use the same fabrics?

No. You may choose any fabric we offer. We stock well over 500 shirting materials...all high thread count...luxury fabrics beginning at $150 per shirt are also available.

I am a bit hesitant to order custom shirts...I worry about the fit.

The trial shirt solves the problem. No matter who you select to make your shirts, always have them make just one to be sure the final pattern is just the way you want the fit. Every new Ripley customer gets a trial shirt.

Does Ripley offer a guarantee?

A guarantee is only as good as the company.
All Ripley shirts carry a lifetime free repair of any seam...additional buttons are always free for the asking.

Are new fabrics available frequently?

Twice yearly we introduce new fabrics (Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer).

Does each and every customer get his own personalized pattern...and what about quality?

Absolutely! A precise computer pattern is prepared...we use the best laser cutting machines, the finest threads, the strongest linings in the collars and cuffs. Our buttons will never turn milky white from laundering.

Can I request different collars, cuffs, pockets etc. on my shirts?

To keep production prices reasonable, we ask that the first 4 shirts of every order have the same design. Should you desire a change from this request, simply add an additional cutting charge of $17.50 to your order. Example: You order 5 shirts and want 3 with french cuffs and 2 with one-button cuffs...add $17.50 to the total order.

Can I order white collars and/or cuffs?

Yes. Just specify the shirt. Add $6.50 per shirt.

Do I have to worry about shrinkage?

Never. All fabrics are pre-shrunk.

Are shirt tails long enough?

We would never skimp here...shirt tails are based upon your height and weight.

Will you duplicate the fit of a favorite shirt presently in my wardrobe?

Yes. Just send your shirt to us with your order. We'll even incorporate any changes you want into your new shirts. We'll return your shirt with your new Ripley Shirts.

What's the difference between soft and fused?

Fused collars and cuffs get a heavy lining making them a bit stiffer.

Do you share your customer list with other companies?

We never have nor will we ever share or sell our customer listings.

How do you ship my shirts?

All shirts are shipped UPS - insured.
